Hiab’s Demountables and Defence (DMDF) division’s renewed MULTILIFT hooklift installation concept is changing the way installations are done. The new methodology can significantly reduce installation times, delivering cost efficiency and market competitiveness to both customers and Hiab.

The DMDF division started developing the installation process in 2023. The target was to map the best practices and pain points in the hooklift installation process and find ways to improve the process. The project owner Henri Janhonen, Director, Installation Product Management and R&D, explains:

“During the project’s running time we conducted successful installation workshops in various European countries, developing the process and working methods along the way. Now when the process is finalised, we are actively collaborating with Hiab’s local personnel to ensure the adoption of the updated and renewed methodology and offering.”

The installation standard concept has now also been included in the MULTILIFT product support training.

Continuous development targeted to improve our competitiveness
The standardised MULTILIFT installation concept is a testament to Hiab’s commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the best possible solutions for its customers. Being able to significantly reduce a MULTILIFT installation time is a huge achievement, ensuring we deliver a cost-effective solution to our customers, and improve our competitiveness at the same time.

But the work does not end here. As all product groups, MULTILIFT is continuously innovating to provide advanced solutions and enhanced efficiency for its customers. At MULTILIFT, commitment to development is reflected in a range of features designed to streamline operations and improve performance. The aim is to provide an installation process which is as productive and innovative as the Multilift products themselves.
