Meet Anna, Sustainability

Anna joined Hiab in 2021 and is currently working as a Senior Sustainability Manager for Responsible Sourcing. Becoming a part of the company was driven by a clear alignment of values.

“I was drawn to Hiab for several reasons: the fascinating industry, the great company culture, and most importantly, Hiab’s ambition to be a leader in sustainability. The company’s commitment to Science Based Targets really stood out to me.”

Anna’s role is dynamic and multifaceted. She leads responsible sourcing programmes across the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) spectrum. Her work is central to key initiatives like decarbonisation, supplier assessments, minerals due diligence, and ensuring product compliance with hazardous substance regulations.

“On a typical day, I’m in meetings with suppliers and our sourcing team, networking with partners, and aligning with our internal sustainability, legal, and R&D teams. We are constantly working together.”

Beyond the day-to-day meetings, Anna focuses on process improvements and strategy development to keep Hiab at the forefront of the industry. Her passion for environmental impact and human rights is what fuels her work.

“The positive changes we are making throughout our supply chains inspire me every day. Hiab has a supportive and friendly environment, which makes working on these challenging global issues feel incredibly rewarding.”
