Meet Hermanni, President Delivery Solutions

Hermanni joined Hiab in May 2013 as a summer trainee in global hydraulics sourcing. Since then, his journey has been anything but linear—shaped by curiosity and a willingness to say yes to new opportunities.

During his time at Hiab he has taken on roles across product management, business development, sales management, strategy, and M&A, eventually moving into senior leadership positions and now leading the Delivery Solutions Business Area.

What has kept Hermanni motivated throughout his time at Hiab is the culture.

“From day one, the atmosphere has been pragmatic and welcoming,” Hermanni says. “I still get the most energy from meeting our frontline colleagues and customers; that’s where you get the most honest feedback and stay truly connected to what we do.”

Hermanni’s journey has provided him with a truly global perspective, having visited factories and met colleagues all over the world. He has also witnessed Hiab’s significant evolution firsthand.

“Since I joined Hiab, we have roughly doubled our revenue and become a standalone company. It has been rewarding to grow my own professional skills alongside the company’s growth journey.”

For Hermanni, the most important lesson has been the value of perspective—and the courage to step into the unknown. 

“Understanding different perspectives is essential when designing and executing strategy, while still staying grounded in everyday business,”  he says. “My best tip for anyone starting their journey at Hiab? Stay open. Embrace the chance to grow and say yes to new opportunities”.
