During the year 2024 Hiab launched 45 new products. We have industry-leading research & development (R&D) capabilities, and we aim to double our R&D investment. This will allow us to focus even more on customer-value driven game-changers for the future.

Lauri Era, Senior Data Scientist in AI & Predictive Algorithms, is the one of the visionaries behind "Battery Lifetime Prediction." Lauri's work is a prime example of how the best innovations are born from user needs. With his background in statistical mathematics, he saw an opportunity to use data to predict a battery's health, ultimately improving efficiency and reducing downtime for our customers.
Lars Elsmark, Senior Manager for Electrification, and his team have been tackling a fundamental industry challenge: does any other method stand a chance against hydraulics in the most challenging lifting scenarios? For Lars, speed in innovation comes from knowing what you don’t know, testing early, and being ready to adapt. This approach ensures the final solution is perfectly shaped to serve its intended purpose.
Angelika Östberg, Erik Asp, and Elin Lindström form a team whose latest idea is now on its way to a patent. Their groundbreaking concept highlights the importance of deep user insights and cross-discipline collaboration. It is a testament to the fact that understanding the user and their environment is key to providing the best possible solution.
