As a highlight of that work two of our latest solutions – HIAB wspr+ and MULTILIFT L2 Driver Support – have been recognised at the 2026 VAK Innovationspreis for their contribution to the future of the municipal and logistics industries. Taking home both the 1st and 2nd place in their respective categories, these technologies strengthen their position as industry benchmarks.
HIAB wspr+: Emissions-free power where it matters the most
Awarded 1st place: Category Vehicle/Assembly Technology
The HIAB wspr+ (world's first loader crane ePTO-system) is our answer to the growing demand for sustainable urban operations. By allowing the crane to operate at full capacity while the truck engine is switched off, the wspr+ removes the trade-off between power and environmental responsibility.

Progress with purpose
While these awards validate our technical roadmap, we believe that innovation should also serve the community. In honor of this double recognition, we have donated our EUR 5,000 prize money to Blicki e.V. This donation supports their mission to educate children on road safety, particularly regarding heavy vehicles. We are proud to stand with the VAK and our industry peers in ensuring that as our trucks become more efficient, our streets also become safer for the next generation.
